Meetings Have Begun!

As millions of students across the country face the dreaded yet inevitable return of school, the members of Robots By The C have something exciting to look forward to, the return of weekly robotics meetings! Thats right, Robots By The C is coming out of its Summer hibernation to get back to everything robotics. We are now in preparation for the 2011 competition. What are we doing to prepare?

• designing a new team logo
• crafting new team uniforms
• planning a new workspace for the pit
• working on new methods for efficient organization
• updating the website
• forging meaner and cleaner programs for the robot
• and fundraising

All of this while, with the help of our expert mentors, we teach our new members how to take advantage of the tools, materials, and parts at our disposal. We'll be teaching woodworking by building a new cart for out robot. We'll be teaching programing by refining the code that makes the wheels on the robot spin. And we will be teaching all about electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems by fixing up last year's robot.
